To give legal assistance (counselling and following) to victims of Human Rights abuses, so as to enable them restore their violated rightsActivities undertaken
CAJAD has received over two hundred (200) complaints from individuals in our communities, and has filed in about fifty (50) to court on behalf of victims of various sorts of abuses, especially with regard to persons in detention cells. These victims have benefited from free legal aid and counselling. CAJAD has been paying visits to prisons and detention cells within our work zones to assess treatment given to inmates, and follow up for redresses where conditions are deplorable.
