ObjectiveTo discourage voter apathy and trigger massive participation in the 2011 Presidential Election in Cameroon
Activities undertakenCAJAD worked with a forum of civil society organisations, under the coordination of Freedom House Cameroon, to conceive and print a poster bearing a civil society message encouraging Cameroons to vote massively at the 2011 Presidential Election. CAJAD, as assigned by the forum, circulated the posters in Kumba, Bangem and Fontem (all in the South West Region).
CAJAD equally worked with the same forum to produce three (03) radio spots in both French and English, to educate the public on the need to take part in State elections. CAJAD, as assigned by the forum, negotiated for, and monitored, the broadcast of the spots over three radio stations in Limbe, Buea and Kumba
